Ridgefield Toastmasters club was formed in 2006 by members of the Ridgefield business community in Asheville, North Carolina. The club received its charter from Toastmasters International on September 28, 2006 with an initial membership of 20. It is club #935365.
The club meets each Tuesday from noon until 1:00 pm, usually at the offices of Dixon-Hughes at 500 Ridgefield Court in south Asheville.
Toastmasters is a communications and leadership program, conducted via member-led meetings who follow an educational format designed and supported by Toastmasters International. It is an exceptional way to develop communication skills by preparing and delivering speeches, and engaging in other activities designed to promote personal growth.
